Proper home ink-tank all-in-ones — low cost per page, scanning and Wi-Fi, ranked on running cost and reliability.
By Ankush Meena · prices & picks last verified May 2026. Ranked from our printer scoring — how we score.
₹12,000 buys proper home ink-tank all-in-ones from Epson EcoTank and Canon G-series: print, scan, copy and Wi-Fi with genuinely low cost per page. This guide ranks every printer genuinely priced at ₹12,000 or less on running cost, quality and reliability — the things that matter for years of home use. Picks are drawn live and exclude anything currently unavailable in India.
Running cost: ink tank vs cartridge
Ink-tank printers (Epson EcoTank, Canon G-series, HP Smart Tank) cost a fraction per page versus cartridge inkjets — the single biggest factor in total cost. For any regular printing, buy ink-tank.
Wi-Fi, app and mobile printing
Wireless plus a working mobile app (AirPrint/Mopria) matters more day to day than raw specs. Confirm the companion app is still maintained for your phone.
Text vs photo quality
Crisp black text for documents and accurate colour for photos are different jobs. Match the printer type to what you actually print most, not to the spec sheet.
Brand, warranty and ink availability
Canon, Epson, HP and Brother have wide Indian service and easy ink/toner availability. Off-brand bargains can mean impossible refills and no support later.
Every printer here genuinely costs ₹12,000 or less — ranked for what this budget is really for: everyday home and student printing, where running cost rules.

Every pick uses the same scoring — how we score.
The Epson EcoTank L3210 is our pick for its very low running cost and reliable all-in-one performance, with the Canon PIXMA G2020 a strong alternative. See the shortlist above.
Both are excellent ink tanks. Epson EcoTank models (L3210) are known for ultra-low running cost and reliability; Canon G-series (G2020) often edge ahead on photo output. For pure text-and-document economy, Epson; for occasional photos, Canon.
It's well worth having — wireless printing from phones and laptops (via the brand's app, AirPrint or Mopria) is far more convenient than USB. Most ink tanks at this price include it; confirm before buying.
Under ₹8,000 the HP Ink Tank 315 leads — see our dedicated under-₹8,000 guide for the full ranking.
